Over Rs.1215 crores for 7 demands passed

A sum of rupees 1215,581,23,00 for 7 demands for grants under the Home department was passed today in the ongoing 13th session of the 10 Manipur Assembly Session. A sum of Rs. 1159,19,06,00 was passed for the Police, other passed today are Rs. 3,26,29,000 for vigilance department, Rs. 10,48,00,000 for Fire protection and control, Rs. 17,15,15,000 for Jails, Rs. 17,11,80,000 for Home Guards, Rs. 2,56,47,000 for Rehabilitation and Rs. 6,04,46,000 for the State Academy of Training. Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh who is also in charge of Finance today moved the demands for discussion and voting and after brief discussion the demands was passed in the house.
