Around 300 houses were submerged under water at Tentha Marongban village of Wangjing in Thoubal district after a portion of the Wangjing River bank breached in between Tentha Khunou and Tentha Khongban at around 9.30 am today.
Officials of the IFCD and locals tried to blocked the water until late evening today.
