Onus on Shooters, Judokas on 3rd day

Imphal, July 16: Day 3 of the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow will have medals at stake in eight events. India, with a tally of 10 after Friday’s events, will hope for medals in shooting, judo and weightlifting. India will also look for a good start from world champion boxer Vijender Singh and an improved performance in men’s hockey. At 3.19 pm today, in the Women’s Judo 78kg QF – Jina Devi Chongtham will take on Laura Portuondo (Can).
