One person who has been undergoing treatment at Shija Hospital today succumbed at the hospital.
Leithangbam Noren (47 yrs), sustained critical injury in the attack by suspected Kuki Militants at Kangchup Chingkhong Apunlok village near Khurkhul Village in Imphal West district the day before yesterday evening. Since then he has been undergoing treatment at Shija Hospital Langol.
He passed away today morning at Shija Hospital. A resident of Sagolband Nepram Menjor Leikai, late Leithangbam Noren, is a national player of Taekwondo and also a national referee and executive member of Salai Mapari Singpun Lup.
He is survived by his wife Phuraiatpam Ningol Treveni and his three daughters and one son.
