One more shot dead at Namphalong, wife, daughter sustained bullet injury

Imphal, May 28: After unknown miscreants shot dead a woman labourer at Namphalong at Indo-Myanmar border another group of gunmen shot dead a person identified as Amute (38 years) at his residence at Ward No 13 Namphalong at around 9.30 pm yesterday. Wife of the deceased and their daughter too sustained bullet injury and were reportedly undergoing treatment at Tamu Civil Hospital in Myanmar. Namphalong of Myanmar is the main trade center between India and Myanmar which is located adjacent to Border Town Moreh of India. The recent killing of a woman labourer by unknown miscreants at the same place had spark protest at Moreh crippling normalcy of the border trade.
