Imphal, Jan 3: A team of Imphal West police under the the supervision of Additional SP (Ops) Imphal East, K Meghachandra arrested a cadre of KCP M from Bamon Kampu Mayai leikai at around 11 am yesterday. Three hand grenades, four detonators and a .32 pistol along with 2 live round were recovered from his possession. The KCP cadre has been identified as Akoijam Khamba Singh ( 45 years0 S/o (L) Ak. Mani Singh of Bamon Kampu Mayai leikai. According to police he joined the outfit in 2008. He had earlier threaten a person by placing a hand grenade for misappropriation of KCP –MC’s fund.
