A 56 year old man has been injured in an IED bomb blast at Chingarel near 45 Assam riffles under Lamlai Police station. The incident happened at round 7:45 am today morning when a Gipsy of AR came down from their post just 30 meters away when the blast occured. The injured personnel have been identified as Thokchom Kumar singh (56) son of (Late) Khomei singh from Kangla Sangomsang. He runs a hotel at Chingarel near the site where the blast occurred. He sustained injuries at back side of his body.
Later SDPO of Lamlai police station and BD also arrived to investigate the incident.
