Chandel, Feb 27:
A One Day Skill Mela was organised by the District Skill Committee, Chandel, at the Multipurpose Hall, Mini Secretariat, DC complex, Chandel today.
Today’s opening function of the Mela was graced by the Deputy Commissioner, Chandel Mayanglambam Rajkumar, Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Chandel Md. Firoj Khan and Assistance Director NIELIT, Laishram Shyamkumar.
Speaking on the occasion the Deputy Commissioner remarked that not only the government and private skill developers and entrepreneurs, every quarters of the society should join in propagating the idea of skill developments which will increase the employability of our youths. He urged the district skill committee to continue finding out the opportunities available and create awareness amongst youths of the districts.
As part of today’s program a six day IT training program for school teachers was also launched by the Deputy Commissioner, Chandel
All together around seventeen government and private skill providers and companies, like ITI, Chandel, JSS, Chandel, CIPET, NIELIT, SYNTAX, JCRE Skill solutions, Eastern Motors, Go Aviation, Green Cane, Meira foods, JACEEX etc took part in today’s Mela.
Around 200 students, youths and stake holders of the district took part in today’s Mela.
The programme was also attended by District level officers, staffs and officials of the district.
