One Day Seminar On Digitalization of Indian Banking Industry

Ankush Kumar, relationship manager, HDFC Bank, Malout branch was the distinguished speaker in this seminar. He discussed various new techniques of ebanking. He shared his vast experience about credit cards, ATMs, SMS banking, mobile banking and Internet banking. He replied satisfactory answers of students regarding RTGS, NEFT, and various functions of ATMs etc.
The Govt. College, Danewala, Malout (Punjab) is renowned for its excellent activities and committed with the overall development of its students. Under the guidance of Dr. Jyotsna, DDO/officiating principal of the Govt. College, Danewala (Malout) organized a one Day Seminar on the topic “Digitalization of Indian Banking Industry” in accordance with directions of DPI, Colleges, Punjab. This seminar was held under the theme G 20 and India’s Presidency 2023. Ankush Kumar, relationship manager, HDFC Bank, Malout branch was the distinguished speaker in this seminar. He discussed various new techniques of ebanking. He shared his vast experience about credit cards, ATMs, SMS banking, mobile banking and Internet banking. He replied satisfactory answers of students regarding RTGS, NEFT, and various functions of ATMs etc. The students of various classes participated with full enthusiasm.
A college official, Mrs. Kirti Sukhija, emphasized the importance of such seminars in the life of students. The college will organize more activities under this theme in the future, she said. She also highlighted the significance of such seminars in life. She said without digitalization India cannot develop. Dr. R. K. Uppal spoke about G 20. He said India is a lucky country that is going for presidency G 20 for the first time. This event is a great privilege to be hosted by India, he said.
He said ebanking is a need of the hour in the ages of liberalization, privatization and globalization. All the faculty members, senior faculty member Madam Asha, dept. Of English, Kaizyia dept. of Commerce, Dr. Arun Kalra, Dept of Punjabi, and Madam Neelam Uppal, dept. of Hindi were present.
