One day Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme held

A one day Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme (ICOP) on AzadiKa Amrit Mahotsav, 8 years of Seva, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan and Vision 2047 was organized by Central Bureau of Communication, Regional Office, Imphal at G.P. Women’s College, Dhanamanjuri University, Imphal, Manipur. Dr. Rajkumari Tamphasana, Principal, G.P. Women’s College and Dean School of Social Sciences, Dhanamanjuri University, Manipur, Aribam Ibomcha Sharma, Head of Office, Central Bureau of Communication, Regional Office, Imphal and Dina Serto, Associate Professor, Head of Department, Department of History, G.P. Women’s College were the chief guest, president and guest of honour of the event.
Speaking at the women’s college as resource person, N. Malemsanba Meetei, Assistant Professor, Department of History, G.P. Women’s College, Dhanamanjuri University, explained on the contributions of women in the freedom struggle of India’s Independence. The contribution of Nupilal, 1939 in Manipur was also discussed during question and answer session.
Later, students were urged to download and play mobile game Azadi Quest where unsung heroes of India’s freedom struggle is found. An on the spot quiz contest was organized and prizes distributed to the winners and participants. Private Registered Troupes(PRT) of CBC, RO, Imphal namely Nokphade Cultural Foundation, presented a theme based drama called ‘Khangminasi Eikhoi’. Teaching Faculty of the college also attended the event.
