One Day Facilitation Camp Organised

Imphal, April 3: A One day Facilitation camp was organized by District Administration Kakaching at Serou Practical High School, Serou. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Kakching Th.Kirankumar said the goal of organizing the camp is to make people aware and avail the various services provided by different department of the District to the people of Serou. and as Serou is located far off from Kakching District Headquarter, the people face many problems accessing and availing services like getting Domicile, OBC,ST/SC ,Income, residential certificate  provided by the government. Such camp will be organized in other areas of Kakching in future, he added. Today’s camp is unique as compared to other camps before in the whole district as different departments like Revenue , Police, BDO, CMO,DFWO, ZEO, MSPDCL, ICDS, Banks participated in the camp as compare to other camp which saw only few department participating and camp organized by related department only.  An interaction programme with the District SP was also organized to make people aware of the law and order situations in the district.  Today’s camp facilitated many services to the public like issuing Birth Certificate, distributing Books to School students, free Medical Camp with free medicine service, New electricity connection, Opening of new Bank account, Aadhar registration, Distributing loans and making people of Digital payments to the general public.
The DC promise to make other department like Agriculture, Industries, CAF & PD ,YAS, Transport, PHED and DRDA which were not present in today’s Camp to take part in future Camp organized by District Adminstration and thanked District Level Officer, people of Serou, Local Clubs/Organisations, Elected representatives and Media Fraternity for making the camp a grand success.
