Oinam Sunil Singh, Lt. Gen (Retd) L. Nishikanta Singh appointed advisors to Chief Minister

Former State Information Commissioner of the Manipur Information Commission, Oinam Sunil Singh, has been appointed as Media Advisor to the Chief Minister of Manipur.
In a separate appointment, Lt. General (Retd) L. Nishikanta Singh has been appointed as Advisor (Coordination) to the Chief Minister.
Both appointments are for a tenure of one year with immediate effect.
According to orders issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Government of Manipur, the appointments were made following a decision taken during a Cabinet meeting held on February 17. The order stated that the appointments were made in public interest for a period of one year with immediate effect.
On the other hand, Dr. Krishnananda Samurailatpam Sharma appointed as Advisor (Policy Matter) to Chief Minister for one year, effective immediately in public interest, following the cabinet decision.
