Imphal, May 28: Porgramme officer of MGNREGS, Kasom Khullen TD block, Dr Mayengbam Veto Singh today carried out physical examination of works being taken up under the planned projects of MGNREGS included for the financial year 2016-17. The inspections were carried out in the villages of Chakama, Nambashi, Horton, T Natyang, Khamaland and Kasom Khullen during the officials checked registers and documents related to the works taken up under the scheme. Dr Veto who is also the SDO/BDO of Kasom Khullen sought cooperation from the village authorities in completing the job card verification drive which is currently underway.
