NT Theatre’s ‘War and Peace’ invited for Abhinya National festival

Imphal, August 3: NT Theatre Manipur’s ‘War and Peace’ has been invited to perform in the Abhinya National Theatre Festival to be held at Andhra Presdesh. The play ‘War and Peace’ is written by Niladhaja Khuman and is directed and designed by Ningthouja Deepak. Abhinya National Theatre Festival is one of the largest theatre festivals of India jointly organized by Culture Department of Andhra Pradesh and State Film TV and Theatre Development Corporation of Tamil Nadu in association with South Central zone Cultural centre Nagpur, Maharastra, Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre Kolkata and North East Cultural Centre, Dimapur. The play will be staged on August 29 at Maha Auditorium of Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. 24 member crew of the theatre group will be leaving Imphal on August 23.This is the second time that the NT Theatre’s play has been invited to the Abhinya National Theatre Festival. Last time the group’s ‘Lament of Widow’ was invited for the Festival.
