Chandel, Jan.17: The Naga Students’ Union Chandel (NSUC) organized the1st District Level High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) pattern Mock Examination 2016 for the students of Class X and XII (Science) today.
The examination was conducted at Union Model High School, Komlathabi (Kapaam) and Maha Union Government Higher Secondary School in Chandel District Headquarters.
Altogether 187 students from different schools located in the District appeared the mock examination in Mathematics and Science subjects.
Speaking to the media persons, Sr. Joningam, President of NSUC told that the examination is the first of its kind in the District organised by the Union so far. And the objective of the examination is to build up confidence in the mind of the students as well as to encourage them to study hard and prepare to excel in the fort coming Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) and Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) Examination 2016, he added.
The Student’s Union President also maintained that the mock examination is a small initiative of the Union to send a clear message for eradication of impersonation and unfair means in the HSLC and HSSLC Examinations for bringing quality education in the District.
The President also expressed gratitude to all the school students and Principals who extends support and cooperation for successfully conducting the said examination.
