NSF to commence first phase agitation from October 30 over Government failure to set up SSB

Naga Students Federation in a press communiqué said that the student body will commence its 1st phase of democratic agitation from October 30 following government failure to comply with their demand for setting up of Staff Selection Board (SSB) in Nagaland.
“It was unanimously resolved to register the resentment of the Federation in a democratic and phased manner against the failure of the Government of Nagaland to comply with its demands for setting up of Staff Selection Board (SSB) in the State,” the NSF statement said.
The first phase democratic agitation will begin by wearing black badges.
“All the school, college and university going students shall wear symbolic black bands/badges along with the uniform of their respective institutions”, the NSF appealed.
The Federation also directed all the Federating Units and Sub-ordinate bodies to take up all necessary actions to ensure that the protest is carried out successfully in their respective jurisdiction.
It also appealed to all the stakeholders to lend their support and cooperation in this fight towards a just future.
