NSF and ENSF serves ultimatum to streamline SSA and RMSA teachers to Nagaland Government

The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) and the Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has submitted an ultimatum to mainstream SSA & RMSA teachers 2010 & 2013 batch and threatened to launch democratic agitation if fail convert into action the decision taken in cabinet meeting within 30 days.

A press statement signed jointly by NSF President , Ninoto Awomi and ENSF President Sepili L. Sangtam said that a consultative meeting of the two federations had resolved to issue ultimatum to mainstream SSA & RMSA teachers of 2010 and 2013 batches as per the decision taken in the cabinet meeting of October 3 , 2018 and office memorandum issued on October 5, 2018 within a period of 30 days from the official date of communication, failing , which the two federations shall be compelled to take up democratic measures against the inaction of the Nagaland government.

The ultimatum is set in regard to the agreement signed between the School Education Department of Nagaland government and the Nagaland Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan teachers’ Association , NSF and ENSF on June 12, 2018.

In the point number 3 of the agreement, it is stated that the Department will rectify the nature of SSA teachers of 2010 & 2013 batches based on appointment order, RTI reports and advertisement and other relevant documents. Subsequently on October 3, 2018decided in principle to bring the teachers of all 2010 & 2013 batches of SSA and RMSA teachers into the mainstream School Education cadre and issued the office memorandum vide No. CAB-2/2013 (Pt)  by the cabinet secretariat on October 5,2018, the joint statement added.
