Imphal, Aug 21:
A delegation of NSCN(IM) resumed talks with the Centre on the Naga political issue today.
As per a reliable source, NSCN-IM leader Thuingaleng Muivah and seven other delegations reached Delhi yesterday.
The NSCN(IM) has been demanding a constitution and an independent flag of their own to the Centre. However, nothing can be said till the talk is completed.
Earlier, on the eve of the 77th Naga Independence Day, the NSCN-IM leader asserted that the demand for a Naga nation-state should not be seen as a regression on others’ rights, and Nagas are not begging for land from others.
