Imphal, June 5: A self-styled major of NSCN (K) was killed in an encounter with central security force at Gaijialon village, under Khoupum Police Station in Tamenglong district at around 2.20 am this morning. The deceased has been identified as Thaolung Thaimei. An M-16 rifle and 11 rounds along with a mobile handset were recovered from his possession.
