Troops of 22 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) apprehended one NSCN (K) cadre on August 18 during an operation conducted at Kakching Lamkhai area. A press statement of the PRO Assam Rifles said that the apprehended cadre is identified as H Bojesh Monsang, aged 24 years, resident of village- Zaphou, District – Chandel. He is reported to be working at the rank of Sgt. and his army number is 4538. The apprehendee was handed over to the Kakching Police Station, the AR statement added.
