Imphal, Jan 31: A statement by NSCN-IM today condemns the charges leveled against Mr. Kuhang Songthing, terming it as fabricated. The NSCNIM statement said that Kuhang Songthing is a civilian from Longpha village, Changlang district in Arunachal Pradesh, by the Indian Army who branded him as an active self-styled private and Raju Peyu of the NSCN (IM) and subsequently arrested him 25/01/2018 on such a false allegation.
There is no such individual enrolled or appointed as a Private or Raju Peyu in the army or civil set-up of the government.
