NSCN/GPRN released 14 points statement for termination of Ramsan and Absalom

Hebron/ Ukhrul, July 17:
The Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP) of the Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) has issued a comprehensive 48-point official statement detailing the grounds for the termination and expulsion of Lt. Gen. Hs. Ramsan (Retd.), Lt. Gen. Absalom Raman and several of their associates, describing the move as a constitutional and disciplinary necessity to safeguard the Naga national movement.

According to the statement, the dispute traces back to 2019 and documents what it describes as a sustained pattern of defiance against the Collective Leadership, repeated violations of the Yehzabo (Constitution), establishment of a parallel administrative structure, unauthorized military activities and acts detrimental to the unity of the organization.

The GPRN alleged that Ramsan repeatedly ignored directives to report to the Council Headquarters in Hebron, rejected official appointments, refused to take the prescribed Oath of Allegiance and continued functioning independently despite several executive orders, suspensions, termination orders, presidential pardons and general amnesty initiatives.

The statement further accuses Ramsan’s loyalists of involvement in the November 2023 robbery of the Punjab National Bank, Viewland Branch, Ukhrul, the disarming and abduction of Naga Army personnel, seizure of arms and ammunition, unauthorized collection of public funds, and maintaining parallel military and administrative structures.

It also alleges that Ramsan and his associates established unauthorized contacts with several armed groups and foreign entities, including the NNC/FGN, KNO/KNA-B, PDF and other Myanmar-based organisations, actions which the GPRN says violated the NSCN Constitution and Party Discipline and undermined the Indo-Naga Framework Agreement.

Despite these allegations, the statement says the Collective Leadership repeatedly pursued reconciliation through peace missions, church leaders, civil society organisations, presidential pardon, reinstatement and general amnesty between 2024 and 2026.

However, it claims those efforts ultimately failed as Ramsan allegedly continued to disregard the authority of the Council Headquarters in Hebron.

Following what it described as an exhaustive review by the National Security Council, the Collective Leadership resolved to expel Lt. Gen. Hs. Ramsan and Lt. Gen. Absalom Raman from active party membership with effect from June 24, 2026. The statement adds that six other senior associates were subsequently expelled on July 7.

Reaffirming the constitutional principle of “One Party, One Government,” the GPRN has directed all NSCN members presently operating under the so-called Eastern Flank to immediately report to the Council Headquarters in Hebron or the General Headquarters.

The statement concludes with a warning that failure to comply with the directive within the stipulated period would be treated as an act against the Nation and would invite punitive action under the Yehzabo and the organization’s military laws.
