Imphal, Jan. 27:Proscribed group NSCN released a press statement today stating that Santhuanang Pamei S/o Miuhemang Pamei of Namkaolong (Keikao) Village presently residing at Model Village Tamenglong town and working as part time sweeper at UBI bank, Tamenglong bazar branch who was arrested by Imphal West Police commandos on charges of being an active member of NSCN monitoring the movement of security forces along NH-37 to launch attacks is an innocent civilian with no relation to the proscribed group in any manner and condemns the act of the state police.
