Manipur state unit president Dr. Lorho S. Pfoze has reiterated the resolve of his party to protect the interests of the genuine citizens of Manipur in a manner that all measures related to citizenship issues remain constitutional, equitable, and just.
In conversation with this paper at the NPP headquarters at Mantripukhri, Imphal, Dr. Pfoze said NPP will go on helping the genuine citizens of Manipur with whatever support is possible.
Dr. Pfoze reminded everyone that resolutions were passed by the Manipur Legislative Assembly in August 2022 and in March 2024 regarding the need for full registration of citizens of the State.
It is pertinent to note that the NPP continues to re-affirm the resolutions and would support constitutional and equitable measures for genuine citizens of Manipur.
