North East School of Music and Art celebrates third Foundation Day

The North East School of Music and Art (NESMA) marked a significant milestone on Sunday, celebrating its third foundation day at the JN Dance Academy. Founded with the objective of providing students with professional music training, NESMA has established itself as a premier music institution in the region. During the celebration, NESMA showcased its commitment to nurturing musical talent among students. With a range of courses offered in instruments such as classical guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, violin, ukulele, piano, keyboard, vocal, and traditional instruments like Pena, the institute has attracted a growing number of students.
Currently, NESMA boasts over 30 students learning from experienced teachers at its Kongba Ayangpali location. The institute’s focus on providing quality music education has yielded impressive results, with students demonstrating significant progress in their musical abilities.
One notable student, nine-year-old Zyra, who has been with NESMA since its inception, shared her positive experience. She highlighted how her involvement with the institute has led her to reduce her screen time and focus more on music, piano, and vocal training. Student also performed different songs and solo music on the occasion.
