Ningol club demands to hand over Lhukhosei Zou case to CBI

Demanding to handover the Lhukhosei Zou drug haul case to CBI, volunteers of the Ningol Club started poster campaign today and staged protest at Heirok Part –II market. Ningol Club is a civil body formed by like minded ladies of the state to fight the social menace.

Speaking to reporters Secretary General of the Ningol Club Yaiphabi Ningthoujam said that government should act by understanding the sentiments of the people by handing over the case of drug lord kingpin  Lhukhosei Zou to Central Bureau of Investigation. She said that the government should not try to protect the drug lord who had attempted to spoil the society. She said Zou, the virus of the society should be punished as per the law of the land.

If the drug lord is not punished what is the use of the War on Drug , the Ningol Club secretary questioned.
