Imphal, May 9: A 7 day basic course in News Reporting which commenced from May 3rd to 9th May 2017 concluded today at Tamenglong District Headquarter.
ADC, Tamenlong, Estimate Committee Chairman Charles Liangdiang and Tamenglong Times Editor Jimmy Panmei attended as a Chief Guest and President of the closing ceremony and distributed the certificates to the students.
Speaking on the closing function the chief guest highlighted the importance of journalism in the District. He also advised the students to work as a real professional in the line of duty.
The President of the function also encouraged the students to take up journalism as a career since it is a very promising profession.
Altogether 26 students from different parts of Tamenglong District participated in this training.
