A newly constructed office of the Meetei Huyen Langlon Shindam Shanglen (SATJAL Academy) at Harinagar in Jiribam district inaugurated today.
The flag with the picture of Ebudhou pakhangba hoisted by Nameirakpam Budhachandra Singh at the onset of the inaugural ceremony of Satjal Academy.
The inaugural function was graced by Adhyaksha Jiribam Kh. Janaki Devi as chief guest; President , Mahadev Committee, Lamnoupokpi Y. Chaoba Singh presided over the function.
Hilghat Gram panchayat Pradhan, L. Somorendra Singh; Social Worker, Ningsingkhul N. Budhachandra Singh and S. Jadob Singh, President H.Q No.2 also attended as guest of honours.
S. Shyamkishor Meitei, General Secretary, Central Committee delivered keynote address. In his speech he highlighted the objectives and activities of Universal Friendship Organisation (UFO).
Speaking on the occasion, N. Budhachandra Singh said he feel proud to be part of today’s programme. He added, everyone should know that the Satjal is an Universal Friendship Organisation.
“Let us spread the message of UFO throughout the world of peace and love among the differences”, Budhachandra said.
On the speech of Chief Guest Kh.Janaki Devi said that the rules and regulations of UFO is very pleasant. It gives the opportunity to bring more bonding of love among us by interchanging our thoughts.
