New DIPR office to be inaugurated

Imphal, July 25: The information and public relations minister Th Biswajit said that the state government is planning to inaugurate the new office building of the Directorate of information and public relations (DIPR) in the state capital soon.
Presently DIPR is mainly functioning from the Moirangkhom office while the news section office starts functioning from the new building at Keishampat in Imphal.
Replying to a question by opposition MLA Surjakumar Okram, IPR minister Biswajit informed the assembly that the total budget of the department is Rs 18,65,33,000 while the total expenditure incurred so far while publishing various advertisements of different departments made in the media by the present government is Rs 69,73,673.
