New body formed to assist Manipuri Diaspora in getting education in the state

Imphal, March 27: A new body called the Educational Helpline for Manipuri Diaspora (EHMD) was formed today to help Manipuri student inhabiting at various part of the region out Manipur in continuing higher studies in the state starting from class XI to post graduate level.
A press released signed by Ashok Salam, General Secretary of the organization said that a Face Book page called Educational Helpline for Manipuri Diaspora have been open and anybody residing outside the state and interested to study in Manipur can contact through the social networking site FB page for first hand information.
The motive of helping Manipuri Diaspora is to built up better relationships with Manipuris which had inhabited at various part of India particularly the North Eastern states of India.
The statement also said that besides providing educational helpline the newly formed organization will also provide financial assistance if require.
