Neighbourhood Youth Parliament

Imphal, Dec 4: The Social Economic Educational and Cultural Development Association Manipur (SEECDAM) organised one-day block level “Neighbourhood Youth Parliament” under the sponsorship of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Imphal East yesterday at Singjamei Kshetri Leikai LP School premises. The programme was participated by around 80 youths representing various youth clubs of Imphal east district.
Dr. Chinglen Maisnam, Economist delivered lecture on “Economic Development of the youths”, while Shri P Loken Singh, Vice Chairman, Small Scale Industries Council, Kolkata spoke on “Skill Development and Employment Avenue”. The programme was participated among others by Shri Kh Ibohanbi Singh, District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Imphal East; Shri L Sunil Singh, Pradhan of Torban Kshetri  Leikai Gram Panchayat; and Shri Seram Neken, President of SEECDAM as Presidium Members.
As part of the programme, the NYK Imphal east and SEECDAM also jointly observed the Constitution Day of India belatedly. Shri Seram Neken gave lectures on the salient features of the Preamble of Indian Constitution.
