Nature camp held at Keibul Lamjao National Park

The Keibul Lamjao National Park, under the sponsorship of the Nature Learning Centre, Forest Department, Manipur and in partnership with the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun and Zonal Education Office, Wangoi, Government of Manipur organised a 2-day 1-night Nature Camp in and around Keibul Lamjao National Park from 27th to 28th December, 2018.
The residential Camp showed a successful participation of more than 62 students along with their teachers from 6 different Government schools, ranging from VI to X classes, both male and female, covered by the Zonal Education Office, Wangoi. Activities in the Nature Camp included Jungle Trail, Bird Watching, Nature Quiz, Talent Show, Screening of Nature Movies, cleanliness drive and Nature sensitisation talks with various experts and Forests staffs.
Overnight stay and Camping was done at Sekmaijin High school with enthusiastic participation from both students and teachers alike.
