A 2-Day National Seminar on “Oral Narratives of North East India” organized by Manipuri Department, Kha Manipur College (KMC), Kakching will be held on May 3 and 4 at the college campus. The seminar is sponsored by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Sub themes of the seminar will be – Oral Narrative and Oral History; Oral Narratives of North East India: Oral Discourse and Literary Theory; Oral Narratives in the Modern North East Society; Oral Narratives and Cultural Identity. Last date for submission of abstract/ full paper is respectively 15 April 2015/ 20 April 2015. Official language will be Manipuri/English.
