The 5 days National Integration Camp organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Thoubal, Manipur, held at the DC Office Complex Thoubal was concluded yesterday.
The valedictory function was attended by Smt. Kh. Surnolata Devi, Adhyaksha, Thoubal Zilla Parishad, Shri T. Ranjit Singh, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal and Shri Ksh. Lemba Singh, ADM, Thoubal as the Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honour respectively.
In his Camp report Shri Y. Laksman Singh, District Youth Coordinator, NYK Thoubal highlighted about the programmes and activities that were organised during the camp. He said that during Camp the NIC the Campers took active part in the Social Service in the Mini Secretariat, Padyatra(Rally) from DC office Athokpam Makha, Educational Field Visit in different parts of the state, interaction with Kumari Mangka Mayanglambam, Shri Ibomcha, International Boxing Coach and Dronacharya Awardee, Lecture by different Resource Persons etc.
Adhyaksha Smt. Kh. Surnolata Devi thanked the NYK Thoubal for taking bold initiative in organising National Integration and Communal Harmony programmes very successfully in the district. She appealed to organise more programmes so as to bridge the gaps between the states of different states and communities.
Shri T. Ranjit Singh wishes the participants for a bright future and he also wishes them to be a productive and responsible citizen of India.
Altogether 152 participants from Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, Nagaland and Manipur participated in the 5 day long National Integration Camp.
