Ukhrul, Dec 5:
The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) has issued a strong rebuttal against a press release dated December 1, 2024, by the Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF), labeling it as misleading and malicious. The statement, released by the Public Information Bureau (PIB) of the Naga Army, categorically dismissed ZUF’s claims as baseless and devoid of truth, describing it as “a hopeless grumbling from fringe elements.”
According to the GPRN (NSCN-IM), the mainstream leaders of the Zeliangrong community are committed to the greater cause of the Nagas, aligning with the vision of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM). The statement further accused the Zeliangrong Tiger Force (ZTF) of being an “Indian-sponsored reactionary force” allegedly armed and protected by Indian security forces.
The GPRN claimed that the ZTF’s sole objective is to check and disrupt the movement of the Naga Army by cunningly playing narrow tribalistic card and exploiting tribal divisions.
Reaffirming their commitment, East or West, North or South, Naga Army vowed to defend every inch of Naga ancestral land irrespective of geographical boundaries, against all threats. The statement emphasized the unity and resilience of the Naga people in safeguarding their God-given heritage.
The GPRN has urged the public to dismiss ZUF’s allegations and stay united under the NSCN-IM’s leadership.
