Imphal, March 25:

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Manipur Regional Office, organized the State Credit Seminar 2025 today at 10:30 AM at Classic Sangai Hall, Hotel Imphal.
The seminar was graced by Prashant Kumar Singh, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Manipur, as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries attending the event include Arun Kumar Sinha, IAS, Principal Secretary (Agriculture), Government of Manipur, N. Ashok Kumar, IAS, Commissioner (Home & Finance), Government of Manipur, and Partha Mandal, General Manager & Officer-in-Charge, NABARD Manipur RO.
The seminar will begin with the registration and assembly of officials and participants, followed by the felicitation of dignitaries. Partha Mandal will deliver the welcome and keynote address. The State Focus Paper 2025-26 will be officially released, highlighting the key areas of focus for agricultural and rural credit in the state. Bendang Aier, DGM, NABARD, will present an overview of the highlights of the paper.
Notable speakers at the seminar include Kh. Okendra Singh, AGM & Convenor, SLBC Manipur, Chamailo M. Samuel, DGM, RBI, and Shri Ranjan Yumnam, IAS, Joint Secretary (Finance), Government of Manipur. N. Ashok Kumar and Arun Kumar Sinha will also share their insights as Special Guest and Guest of Honour, respectively.
One of the key moments of the event will be the felicitation of best-performing banks in the state. The Chief Guest, Shri Prashant Kumar Singh, will deliver the concluding address at 12:35 PM. The seminar will conclude with an open house discussion, vote of thanks by Ratan Mani Soram, AGM, NABARD, and lunch.
This annual event serves as a crucial platform for policymakers, bankers, and stakeholders to strategize and collaborate on enhancing rural credit flow and financial inclusion in Manipur.
