NAB-PS seizes nearly 7 kg of Ganja, 1 arrested

A team of the Narcotics and Affairs of Border Police Station (NAB-PS) seized 6.955 kilograms of suspected ganja this morning from the possession of a youth at North AOC, Imphal.
According to police sources, the operation was carried out at around 8:31 am by a team led by ASI A. Langamba Singh. The contraband was recovered from Bangkin Oinam, 22, son of Ratan Oinam of Heingang Mayai Leikai, while he was at the winger parking area of North AOC.
The accused was arrested on the spot at around 8:40 am. Police said a case will be registered at NAB-PS in connection with the seizure and further investigation is underway.
