Muslim Council suspect irregularities to the appointment of teachers in Madrassa

Imphal, Dec 15: The Muslim Council Manipur (MCM) today spells out suspicion of massive irregularities to the appointment of 150 teachers to the Madrassa run by the Wakf Board Manipur (WBM) under the Prime Minister’s 15 point programme.
In a press statement, Haji Arafat, General Secretary of MCM said that massive irregularities has been noticed to the recruitment of teachers for English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Computer Science for the Madrassa modernization of Wakf Board Manipur. He said the Muslim Council Manipur, taking the matter as a seriously is all set to conduct proper investigation to find out whether those recruited were actually qualified for the post or not.
“ MCM will conduct fresh investigation to find out whether the selected teachers are eligible or not;” the statement said.
The MCM also said that they will also find out whether the teachers have applied for the post through proper channel or not by producing their certificate approved by the Manipur Education department  in terms of qualification.
If any irregularities are founded then the MCM has decided to declare the Wakf Board Manipur as a corrupt zone, he added.
