Muivah may spell out the content of Naga Accord on August 14

There is speculation that senior functionaries of NSCN (IM) may spell out the contours of the agreement to its cadres during the group’s Independence Day celebrations on August 14.
Like every year, the NSCN (IM) is celebrating the 69th Naga Independence Day on August 14. General Secretary of the Group, Th. Muivah will be addressing the people at Hebron Camp, Dimapur as a part of the celebration. A highly reliable source said that Th. Muivah may spell out the content of the accord signed between the government of India and the outfit.
Chief Minister of Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh has been urging the Prime Minister to reveal the details of the pact and their possible implications. As of now the Prime Minister of India has not reveal the details of the agreement saying that it was only a framework agreement. He also assured the Chief Ministers of the three states saying that they will be consulted when the final agreement is made.  
Meanwhile, preparation is taking place at camp Hebron of NSCN-IM at Dimapur to celebrate the Independence Day. Most of the senior leaders of the group, civil society representatives based in Manipur has been invited to attend the Independence Day celebration.
P Chuba Ozukum, president of Naga Hoho, the apex body of Nagas, while speaking to a journalist said that the NSCN (IM) is preparing for the celebrations of its Independence Day. “There’s hope that NSCN(IM) will reveal the contents of the agreement during its Independence Day celebrations”, said P Chuba Ozukum
The Naga Hohos, while welcoming the agreement, requested NSCN (I-M) and the Government of India to share the contents without delay.
