Imphal, July 24: The Maring Uparup Assembly (MUA) urged the concerned authority to withhold the release of bill for PMGSY road construction from Khudengthabi to Rilram Centre (RCC) Part 1 package no. MNO267, part 2 MNO 268 and part 3 MNO 269 respectively.
In a press released sign by M. Morung Dangha, General Secretary of MUA said that the road construction under PMGSY Khudengthabi to Rilram Centre is skipping the specification of granular sub-base with will graded materials and WBM-3 in the construction. It was found that the road construction was not maintaining specifications according to the work order issue.
MUA appeals the concern authority to immediately withhold the release of bill in the interest of the rural villagers.
