The Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) has urged the public to get avail of the “PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana”.
The notification from MSPDCL mentioned that the “PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana” was launched as a flagship scheme by the Hon’ble Prime Minister. This scheme targets to increase Solar Rooftop capacity and also aims to empower and encourage every household to generate their own power supply.
MSPDCL will be the implementing agency of this flagship programme.
As per the notification which was issued by the MSPDCL Managing Director, H. Shantikumar Singh, consumers can apply to avail this facility from its online portal “https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in’’
The department further appealed to those willing vendors to apply through the national portal’s link (www.https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in) by depositing a sum of Rs 2.5 lakhs as Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG).
