The District Industries Centre (DIC), Bishnupur, organised an awareness-cum-Udyam registration drive under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme at Leimapokpam Bazar Public Hall on Monday.
The programme was attended by National Award recipient and social activist Oinam Ibotomba, DIC Bishnupur General Manager H. Karuna, social worker Thiyam Pakchao and P. Loken, former vice-president of the Indian Council of Small Industries and chairman of the Manipur Industries Development Council.
Karuna urged entrepreneurs, particularly those running micro and small enterprises, to register on the Udyam portal to establish their business identity and access bank loans and other institutional support.
