MPCC observed 31st Death Anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi

Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) today observed the 31st Death Anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi at Congress Bhavan today.
Floral tributes were paid to the portrait of the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi during the observance.
The function was graced by CLP leader, O. Ibobi Singh, CWC Member Gaikhangam, and MPCC President K. Meghachandra.
Speaking on the occasion, former Chief Minister and CLP leader O.Ibobi Singh said that he condemned the terrorist acts which end the life of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and also said that the Congress party believe in nonviolence.
He continued that the death anniversary of Former P.M was observed as Anti-terrorism days across India and recalled the selfless contributions of Rajiv Gandhi towards the development of the nation and the implementation of women’s reservations, his demise was a huge loss for all.
CLP leader O. Ibobi urged everyone to work diligently to realise Rajiv Gandhi’s dreams for the nation’s wellbeing.
