MPCC handed over 8 D-type oxygen cylinders at Bishnupur District Hospital

Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) today handed over 8 (eight) D-Type Oxygen Cylinders along with 3 regulators to the Bishnupur District Hospital through the District administration of Bishnupur.
The Oxygen Cylinders and the regulators were handed over by Dr. Kh. Ratankumar, former Minister and the chairman of the Pandemic Management Committee, to the CMO Bishnupur District Hospital through DC Bishnupur.
Dr. Kh. Ratankumar, while talking to the media said that, as there is no oxygen plant at the Bishnupur district Hospital as of now, there are shortages of oxygen in the hospital with the spike in the Covid-19 cases. The oxygen cylinders have been handed over to help the patients in need undergoing treatment at the hospital, he added.
MPCC President K. Govindas who was also present while handing over the oxygen cylinders and regulators said that, the motive for handing over the oxygen is purely to help the needy during this pandemic. He added that there should not be any politics at such a hard time and the congress party doesn’t believe in playing with the life of people during this emergency time.
“There should not be any politics in this pandemic”, Govindas said while replying to a query by reporters.
On the other hand, General Secretary Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee, M. Subashchandra also distributed drinking water, face masks to inmates at community quarantine centers open at Pitambara English School, Malom Mega High school, Mekola Gulap Hr Sec School and Kamakhya Pemberton College.
