Imphal, Feb 11: A mother of 19 years old drawing the attention of the state government and concern department has sought for financial help for her son who is currently undergoing treatment at the ICU of Raj Medicity for the last 21 days.
Speaking to the media persons at Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul, Imphal, Laishangbam Ningol Heisnam Ongbi Ibenu (46 yrs), wife of Late Heisnam Himalay @ Shyamkishore of Konthoujam Lairembi Mamang Leikai said that on the evening of January 22, 2018, she receive a call about her son Heisnam Seityajit (19 yrs) had met an accident along with his two friends at Maibam Lotpa Ching (Red Hill), Nambol at around 7 pm.
Seityajit was admitted at Raj Medicity in serious condition and since than he is under ICU till date while his two friends suffered only minor injuries, she added.
Ibenu also said that her husband left his family when Seityajit was only 5 years old and another son also died at the age of one in an accident, since then she had been suffering financially.
She had already spent more than Rs 4 Lakhs for her son treatment where Rs 2 lakhs was given by her sister.
However, she is facing financial problems for her son treatment who is still at ICU of Raj Medicity,North AOC and seek for help from the state government and concern department as she had no other option and hope that help will be provided at the earliest, she added.
Mention may be that Seityajit and his two colleague met the accident at a pothole near Maibam Lotpa Ching while trying to avoid police checking at Nambol as they were travelling three person in one Activa vehicle.
