Minister of State Panchayati Raj Nihal Chand Meghwal is scheduled to arrive at the state capital on June 17. The visiting dignitary will be holding a press conference at the Old Secretariat Hall following a meeting with officials of the state Panchayati Raj regarding various projects being implemented under the ministry in the state. Field visits to inspect activities at Top Dusara GP- Imphal East, Phayeng GP- Imphal West and Thoubal GP were also scheduled. The Minister of State will leave Imphal for Delhi on the afternoon of June 18.
