The Manipur University Community including the MUSU, MUTA and the MSA has extended support to the October 31 mass rally organised by the United Committee Manipur. Film Forum Manipur and other film related bodies affiliated to the Forum has also extended support to the Oct 31 mass rally saying that that the forum and its affiliated member will stop all film related activities and join the mass rally. A Joint emergency meeting of the Manipur University Students’ Union, Manipur University Teachers’ Association and the Manipur University Staffs’ Association held today morning also resolved to support the Oct 31 mass rally.
