Social Worker Oinam Romen Singh today emphasized the importance of supporting the community during a pension distribution event. The distribution took place at Chingamakha Kshetri Leikai, Nambul Mapal, Imphal West District, where 137 Differently Abled Persons and elderly individuals received their monthly pensions this afternoon.
Romen Singh underscored the significance of providing assistance to meet the daily needs of those in need, particularly during such critical times. He reiterated his commitment to supporting these individuals, emphasizing that he has been initiating various initiatives for them over the past decade and intends to continue doing so in the future.
Highlighting the capabilities of differently abled persons, Romen Singh emphasized their importance in everyday life and called for the government to introduce a special scheme tailored to their needs. He expressed disappointment in the lack of action from public leaders in addressing these issues.
