Month Long Special Campaign 2.0 for Disposal of Pending Matters conlcudes at RIMS

A closing ceremony of a month long special campaign 2.0 for disposal of pending matters from 2nd to 31st October, 2022 was held at Jubilee Hall, RIMS, Imphal today. During the closing ceremony, Prof. L. Ranjit Singh, Director, RIMS, Imphal stated that RIMS Hospital has completely changed looking back to 1977 and now at present. He appreciated the former director for his efforts and initiatives to help RIMS Hospital keeping very neat and clean. Director also urged to unite and work together as a team continuously to overcome all the tasks for maintaining neat and cleanliness at the RIMS Hospital and its surroundings. We should work tirelessly and strive till we can achieve award for Kaya Kalp competition. He also thanked to all the staff of CRED and MSS for their duty in keeping RIMS Hospital neat and clean. Lastly, he also highlighted the ultimate gold of “Garbage to Garden” of 3 (three) places.
Further, Prof. N. Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital, Imphal said that Swachhta Action Plan is very important since under Kaya Kalp, RIMS Hospital is able to level up in maintaining neat and clean environment at RIMS Hospital. He appreciated four entrepreneurs of “Package Drinking Water Bottles and Allied Industries” who donated 5(five) plastic bottle banks for disposal of plastic bottles. He also mentioned that 3 (three) places of Garbage will transform into Gardens.
The program was attended by Prof. Y. Govindaraj Singh, Nodal Officer, SAP 2022-23/ Kaya Kalp RIMS, Imphal, faculty members, officials, staffs of Manipur Security Services and CRED.
On other hand, a farewell function was held in honour of renowned Dr. Prof. Ngangbam Taruni Devi, Department of Medicine, RIMS, Imphal who served about 38 years at RIMS, Imphal. She has relieved from the service of RIMS, Imphal today at New Examination Hall, RIMS, Imphal. During the farewell function, Director of RIMS Imphal, Medical Superintendent of RIMS Hospital, Imphal, DDA (Admn), CAO/FA, staff and faculty members also attended.
