Closing function of the month long Nupee- Lal celebration was held at Nupee- Lal memorieal complex today. The function was organized by Nupee-Lal Memorial Association. The celebration began from December 1.
During the function senior advocate Khaidem Mani Singh, vice president NLMAM Th.Ibemhal Devi, president of Mahilla MPCC L. Tilotamaya, Secretary Organisation of NLMAM Samurailatpam Sheitya bhama among others graced the function as Chief Guest, President, and Special Guest of Honour.Speakers on the occasion stressed on the significance of celebrating Nupi Lal in the present day context where crime against women and children are on the rise.
